One Step at a Time...

sooooo....this is me...this is my baby step attempt at entering the sophisticated cyberness of blogville. it's such an odd dichotomy: online journaling and blogs. writing those things which are most significant to you for others to see...knowing that in that, you're inviting them to do what they want with your words, your ideas, your heart. i used to think that's why people journaled in the first place: to have an outlet for the things that you did not want anyone in the world to know. and now, we have stopped locking up our precious diaries and instead we actually write our entries to a faceless (or face-full) audience. and even in that, we're assuming that there are actually people who care to know what we think, who will actually take the time to not only read the words of our hearts but also to engage us with their experience as well. it's absolutely baffling. i'm still hesitant, honestly. but i don't like to knock what i haven't tried. so, this is me trying. my toe's in the shallow end. and it's cold. but refreshing. baby steps. nice and slow...
